So this one, unlike Orion, wasn't done fully in Photoshop, because I wouldn't have been able to finish it on time otherwise. So I gave SAI a try... and I took it off my tabtop as soon as the 30 day trial period was over. Man, I couldn't work with it - and my tabtop couldn't either! It doesn't understand touch screens or high-resolution monitors, so I grew quite annoyed by it. I use Krita now if I ever have to do line work. Much better, at least for me.

Thijs himself was done in SAI, but all the geometrical shapes are default PS shapes. The sun's rays is actually a brush, normally used to create perspective lines. The waves used to be straight lines (I have a brush for those), but I rippled them with a PS ripple effect. In other words, I feel like I hardly drew a thing. Stuff like this is fun to do once in a while, but I find more joy in painterly styles. Ugh, stupid lines... I do like how the sun turned out though. It's something else than the typical art nouveau background moon

Oh, and in other news: I'm working on Rain's art nouveau piece. There is a lot of stuff growing on in there...
