Character 'speedpaint' - Selanji

I want to shape the fantasy story and world that is stuck in my head a bit better, so other people might enjoy it as well. So lets start with some descriptions of important characters  


Name: Selanji

Other names: Sel, Selanji Withoutname, Ember, Sel the slut (only Khorrek calls her that sporadically when she is out of earshot).

Age: 28, but she is lying about it (already... come on, 28 is not old!).

length: 1.65 m.

birthplace: Somewhere on the southern continent that doesn't have a name yet...

race: human

known languages: Common, Southern.

Description: Sexy, brown skin, dark brown curly hair, brown eyes with a fiery sparkle in them. About average size.

Profession: Currently she's a dancer, but she has been a prostitute as well. Actually, she still is a prostitute, but it has become more like a well-paid hobby for her.

Religion: Believes in the Sandgods, a group of gods very popular in Sandsea. Favourite goddess: Katrasi.

Personality: Is it ok to call your own OC a slut? Basically: she loves men, as some sort of a hobby... and she makes quite some profit with it. She is a very independent woman, which she couldn't be in her home country. Women are suppressed there and kept like pets. The fact that she can flirt with whoever she wants is just some sort of freedom for her. And she likes to be free! Besides that, she has a very hot temper, doesn't listen to the advice of others and acts before she thinks. She cares a lot about her looks, and is a huge fan of colours, especially orange. The part of the world she currently lives in is not that colourful though, so that's a bit hard for her - too bad, she really likes clothes. And shoes. And shopping. Clothing needs to show some skin according to her, but that a style that's also hard to find in the place she currently lives in. She travelled from the southern continent all the way up to the cold, harsh north, you see. Such a hard life for a shop-a-holic... This might sound like a rather shallow character, but she has a different side as well. She longs to have a family. One of her favourite gods is therefore Katrasi, the goddess of family and protection. She left her family in her homeland, but uses her friends as a substitute - she has even adopted Lienne. She can act very motherly sometimes.
Selanji doesn't have a last name; women from her country take their husband's name as a last name, to show others who 'owns' them. Selanji doesn't have one though, and does not want one either. People call her Selanji Withoutname instead. Ember is just her stage/whore name
